Our Services
Consultation Services
We provide support to workplaces, community organizations, hospitals and post-secondary institutions that are looking to begin offering, or improve upon their peer support programming.
We’re able to customize our approach to each company/organization that we’re working with, but generally we can support with the following:
Conducting needs assessments to understand what your peer support service users may be looking for in peer-based programming
Recruitment and screening of peer supporters to provide peer support services to your community
Development of training programs to equip your peer supporters to support your community
Program policy development to ensure your program is operating in alignment with best practices
Management training to ensure that oversight of peer support program operations can be managed internally
Evaluation and quality assurance processes to ensure information collected is being used to continually improve upon the program
Training
We provide peer support training for individuals and organizations that are looking for their employees to be trained in the provision of peer support services. We have a standard peer support training program, and can also customize training programs based on the context that peer supporters are working in. We also provide advanced level peer support training to support the ongoing professional development of peer supporters.
